Are there any board members that own VAG-COM that would be willing to meet with other board members to share use of your product?

Maybe complile a list of those that would do this and include the region that you are located?

Dont forget, you need the auto door unlocking feature enabled to. Otherwise you'll get locked in. With the unlocking feature, you remove the ign key and all doors unlock automatically.

There are a few other options provided you have the newer ecu software, unfortunatly I do not. Search the forum for posts regarding Dash lighting.

I have an older W reg (2000) octavia just b4 the facelift, are most of the same options (auto door locking etc) available to these cars or did they change the main black box with the facelift?

Gimme a few weeks to find my way round it then we can sort something out im still waiting for the cable to be delivered

YES you can still have the usual suspects of anti-hijack and single door unlock.

I just returned from hols in US with the cable - now got the software etc loaded on laptop. However, as the Irish say, "on this subject my ignorance is VAST". Quite happy to exchange use for knowledge. Bicester, Oxon.
