Don't think I've seen this mentioned here before.

Looks very nice IMO.

Wonder how much it will end up costing?

Very Volvo-esque....

Wasn't that in previous weeks Autoexpress marked as being the next Scirocco?

Yep , thats the beastie.

Some of the photos have shown the logo on the front as

scIROCco

Engines will inlcude the 1.4 TSI , 2.0TFSI and hopefully the 2.0TDI

I'd be seriously interested in one of these in three years to replace the octy

I can confirm that it was.

I know someone who has already put a £500 deposit on one at the local VW Stealer!

Personally I'd rather have an original Scirocco , either a Mk1 or a Mk 2 , and do it up. You'd have a rare car , in good nick for about a tenth of the price of the new Iroc , which will probably be higher up the range than the Golf Gti , so over £20K.

Also looks a bit like that Joyster in the other post.

I love the front, but not too sure of the rear - very volvo-esque indeed

It looks a bit like an Alfa 147 at the back , too.

I still see a bit of 'Golf' in the car!

Love it

that's not an IROC!

This is an IROC:

The Mullet and lumberjack shirt are compulsory.

Id still rather have the Chevy than that new vee dub , I guess am just old fashioned!

Scirocco

 HTH

Neighbours son has a Scirocco, in White with White alloys, Looks really nice. 1.8..

It's a nice car, certainly a viable alternative for the TT (don't like the new one). I guess it will be priced between the Golf GTI and the Audi TT, so around £22k for the base model and up to £27 or so for the top spec.

Rather have a Corrado!

Seriously though, think the 'Iroc' is quite a let down. Looks like a Fiat Stilo...

Crap, I hadn't noticed that, you've spoiled it for me now :(
