The problem I found with The Book is that it covers all versions [naturally!] and sometimes you are looking for a feature that doesn't exist on your own car. I found that especially true of the various read-outs. They need a way of writing it so you can go straight to the spec of your own car, even if it is a built-to-order with options. They could do this by colour coding the corners of the pages, as they assemble the particular car. I know this would not help much with retro fitted stuff but it would be a big help during that first week.

they do the same thing with the ford focus. i read the book getting exited of all the stuff i could try only to find most of it didnt work as its an LX! hopefully getting an elegance soon so a lot of things should work from the book this time!
