I have seen the threads regarding the 312mm brakes and fitting to VRS etc , a question though , does this work on a Octy TDI and is there an upgrade for the rears , as they look so so small those discs ie has any one done 285 at rear and 312 at front .

As mentioned elsewhere to change you front brakes your looking at new front bearing carriers and bearings to mount the carriers (about £400 for all the parts etc)

You can convert the rears to vRS vented spec if you get the calipers, carriers discs and pads. Or you can by a Tarox brake kit with spacers to move the caliper outwards.

Why bother? Unless you do a lot of milage well loaded, the back wheels don't do much more than stop the bumper dragging on the ground.
