I've just put Kumhos on mine, decent tyre and a reasonable price.

I had Goodyear Eagle F1s on mine, they still had half the tread on them when i sold the wheels 18 months later.

And i think i 'only' paid £70 each for them.

No more so than in Sassenach land Mr G. I drove about 1500 miles of Englands roads during my summer holiday and I would say they were much the same.

The real problem is the divers boot surgically attached to my right foot I think

I have heard a couple of folk say Khumos are quite good, hopefully, my tyre guy will have some in stock the next time I need some.

Got to agree on the tyre noise, they are pretty noisy. heard lots of good reports on the goodyear F1. WIll try them out on the next replacement set.

Don't know about the Furby, but on my Octavia I'm sure the tyre noise is less now with 2 F1's on the front and 2 Bridgestone Touranza ER30's on the rear than it was with ER30's all round .
