FILTHY SLACK BITCH BEGS FOR MORE!

Featured Replies

Yes that is right, since 1 september I have put 5035 miles on 'Otka', my beloved Skud. She has slackened up nicely and revs really hard all the way to the redline.

Max in top gear running on reletively flat road was about 159mph indicated which I suspect with speedo error and tyre growth taken into account probably equates to about maybe 145-148mph? (sound about right?) I was pleased to see that the speed was attained with three people in.

Please note that this activity was not carried out on UK public roads and I do not condone speeding in any way, shape, or form.

The engine has taken on a noticibly different note, sounding more 'gutterall' and with a definate 'edge'. Feels nice and loose and free revving. Gear change is still a touch tihght and I find myself just holding the throttle on slightly to keep boost between changes or the revs drop considerably. The change, although always precise, is not loose enough for the fast clutchless changes I like. Maybe it never will be. I suspect that is just something I will have to live with.

Slack, yes absolutely. And slacker to come I hope. Very happy with the way she picks up. A different car in the lower gears now.

Dirty? Well seeing as winter is on the doorstep and the nights are darker I have less daylight at weekends to wash her so she does stay dirty. Hey I have busy weekends ok?

One slight niggle though. I tend to get envious looks from other Skud drivers when they see the Corrida Red, especially if they are driving the more mundane blackish or grey coloured vRs Skuds.

I try and remain magnanimous and wave anyway... 8)

my car has been feeling better and better as the miles go on. of course, the apr chip has nothing to do with that. :D

i'm also getting pretty fed up of having no time to clean it - its the dirtiest its been since i bought it in feb :(

hey ho, a job( added to the million others) for the weekend...if it's dry.

Don't worry it loosens up nicely, clutchless changes are dead easy on mine.

Slack does not begin to describe my car, at 60,000 miles shes looser than a $2 whore!

:D
