I ve got the camping bug and was having a problem with getting everything in the car, it simply didnt go. A trailer was out as I didnt fancy plodding everywhere, I a roofbox is akin to driving with the brakes on. So I came up with this! Its a bakrak with a custom box. It can take 20-30kgs, and basically for the wifes wheelchair and a couple of boxes.

Different. I've seen them before but hadn't thought of getting one. Do they tilt so you can open the tailgate like the bike ones do?

This one doesnt but as I have half the back seat down I load from the side. Know thule do a tipping one but a lot more expensive.

interesting bit of kit ,should deffo be less drag than a roof box and easier to load, might also stop the rear screen from getting covered with cr@p when its wet aswell

Interestingly the mpg was higher on this trip than on previous trips, at similiar speeds......

Does it significantly affect front end traction?
