If you are using Outlook Express, put the cursor on the e-mail to highlight it.

Along the top of outlook express are File Edit View Tools Message Help, click on Message and scroll down to BLOCK SENDER and click on it and just follow instructions.

Job done.

it never has pictures in it but how do i delete it without opening it ? i click the delete button or right click then delete but its still goes into the deleted emails folder , when i open that folder the email is already opened , all incoming emails are scanned by Norton , but i have noticed recently that it keeps stopping a worm intrusion

i will try that when i next get an email off this sender  but won't it fill up my inbox at my server or something

You could consider Mailwasher, here: Mailwasher Anti Spam Software: The Reliable Free Spam Blocker

It's recommended in the sense that it is genuine and has no spyware etc to the best of my knowledge. You'd have to decide if it's suitable for you since you have to determine which emails you want to allow through, although it has many options that you might find useful :)

Make a new folder in outlook and call it spam or junk drag and drop the offending article into it and then right click on the folder and there should be an option "empty junk folder" just click yes

register with Spamcop and report them to it - might make a difference, might not!

well i've jus recieved another email from the above source and i've done what Fofos suggested , blocked the senders messages , only time will tell if this works , thanks for the replies

Ditch Outlook Express and use Thunderbird. It has a Bayesian spam filter - mark messages as junk and it learns fast what to delete for you.

Blocking sender is ok if it's from a "genuine" e-tailer who's just sending you stuff you don't want, but most spam comes from "virtual" addresses which change regularly - or even sent from your mate's address if his/her pc has been compromised.

As has been said - whatever you do, don't reply, it just confirms your email address is genuine and in use.
