ye i know but would have involved goin to my uncles to get it! but ye i know i should have now. 500s a fair price.

i did the almost 1500 mile round trip to the Ring and back , not a mark on the car , put the car on the ramp at work to swop the wheels over and proceeded to dent the sill with the socket on my airgun , doh

p.s. yes i did torque the wheel bolts up correctly afterwards

My 2nd hand octy came complete with modified sill from jack slippage - easily done it seems. Noticed the sill on my brother's has been folded flat too (by a quick fit type monkey I assume).

Mine was lifted both sides using a forklift - by the shipping company in New Zealand. Got it put right though :)

i once jacked up a polo using the rear axle beam and bent it.......

Yup, seems that way. A mate of mine, while reversing in his company car, reversed too far, and ended up in a ditch. Got a dent in the back, and had to get towed from the ditch.

Mmmm....i LOVE mondays.... :mad::rolleyes:

Isn't there something on the rear axle beam saying not to use it as a jacking point? Thought there was on the Fabia anyway! :rofl:
