Fabia Sport

the 1.2 sport is excellent, especially the seats. had one of these as a curtosy car for a few days and the ride was very supple and the seats extremely supportive, couple that with frugal running costs & a very nippy engine and I think it's an excellent car, not a vRS no - but then it doesn't have the same costs involved and looks practically identical.

Oh... 2.0

Its 4.5 seconds quicker to 60...

I'd like someone to actually prove that. The 1.4 16v takes 4.5 seconds for the engine to rev after hitting the accelerator, meanwhile the 1.2 has pootled off.

Yes but lets be serious - the 16v pull hard after 4k revs... MUCH harder then the 1.2

The guy asked opinion's about a nice little runabout. It's the same with every thread on a car. The car is always slow compared to yours... 0-60 etc, Who cares? ;)

I have one and it rocks!!!!

He's yellow and looks mean from dusk onwards, thru the day he just look cute!

I had a Comfort 1.4 8v before and it goes better than that one ever did. I did look at a 1.4 16v Ambiente, but for the money the Sport was gonna make alot more sense, and cost less on fuel and insurance (I'm 22 so I'm still insurance conscious lol)

I have the 1.4 sport. It's lovely. Yeah it ain't super fast, but it gets me to wrok and back and is so nice to drive. The interior is the same as the vRS but a different colour. As for pulling after 4k....I dont think mine has ever got to 4k

It does me fine and at least I wont get too tempted to speed! hehe! Waiting for more realistic insurance then may get Octy I RS :D

I personally didn't rate it and TBH would look carefully at other small cars before purchasing either that or a vRS - the Fabia is an old car and against the competition it's showing it's age...

Lol fair enough :)

I thoguht that being a small engine and all you might need to give it some revs to get a move on in rush hour - I know I did with my 1.3 felica.

4ks where the fun starts in the 16v ;)

Hmmm. Wanna swap? Poor old Octy is doing runaround duties at the moment and feeling very sorry for itself. Something smaller would make more sense, and Fabbie Sport looks ideal. Not sure I could bear to let it go though :(
