ARB bushes needed

Featured Replies

I need some ARB bushes for my 1.9TDI Octavia, Getting fed up with the creaking.....

Rather than travelling miles to my nearest dealer, can anyone recommend a mail order or online place to get them from ?

p.s. just to check, I shouldn't need a new roll bar with only 30,000 miles on it should I ?

Depends how much damage has been done if any when the bushes are broken.

Check the bit where the bushes are degraded for damage.

that is no many miles for the arb bushes to fail... is it? Mine has a slight creak, but I am at 100k now!

Mine failed at about 30k and again at about 50k

wow.. that must be the only half decent part on my car then ;-)

(now I have said that I expect they will have crumbled into black rubber dust by the time I come to go home tonight!)

Arb what arb, thats probably disapeared too :)

Try our new Site Partner, Impossible Performance. They stock Powerflex bushes and they do mail order.

and you get a Brisky discount......I think.

Another vote here for Powerflex too.

It's Impossible not to want them.

I got mine from a company called AVS (www.vwspares.co.uk). Though they were just the standard VAG ones.

They arrived in a couple of days & work fine!

Cheers, ordered them from the VW Parts - Audi Parts link, just over £8 delivered.

Fingers crossed the ARB itself is OK.

The ARB was fine, done the job now.

The bushes on mine (2003 model) were the earlier type when I thought they would be (and ordered) the later ones.

Just cut the later ones down to fit and it's all nice and quiet now !
