I noticed HMV are taking pre-orders for the Nintendo Wee, due for release in December.

I heard a rumour that it might play dvd movies, but never seen that confirmed...

If you want HD-DVD on the cheap an xbox 360 and external HD drive would be the way to go at a guess, I'm sure one of the xbox bods will be able to confirm that.

I've pre-ordered mine. From what I've heard it won't play DVDs as it only takes the mini gamecube discs... Not 100% sure on that but I'm sure I've read it somewhere.

It takes 8cm Gamecube discs and 12cm Wii games discs... as confirmed in that article..

But no DVD playback... although I've got a 360, a PS2 and a DVD player all hooked up to my TV, so I think I can cope without another one lol.
