Microsoft exchange language...

Featured Replies

Another strange one for the usual MCSE suspects...

.

Had a couple of complaints recently that people have recived system-messages, eg delivery notifications in french!! is there a global language setting in exchange that controls this?

Ta:)

Think it picks it up from the server system OS by default doesn't it

Properties on the server concerned, then the locale tab. I think thats it.

Ive just checked that.. and they are correct for all the servers..

the bizzare thing is its only a couple of people.. so maybe its outlook 2003 being crap?

I'd go with that :)

Just give it a while and keep an eye on it

It probably picks up their local settings too, my IE webmail switches to Dutch when at my parents, which is a royal PITB as it means the people I send email to know I'm in NL :(
