vRS Mudflaps

Featured Replies

I've convinced a mate of mine to buy a vRS, and he's down on the nitty gritty bits of the deal at the minute. He's trying to get a set of mudflaps thrown in on the deal, but the dealer says that there are no fitted mudflaps available for the vRS.

I've a feeling that there are porkies being told because mine has a set of mudflaps that look very like Skoda fitted ones to me!!!

If there are fitted flaps available could someone get me a part no please??

Thanks

Adrian

They're are no mud flaps for the vRS, normal fabia ones can be made to fit but it involves cutting the rear bumper. So the dealer is telling the truth. :P

I have a fabia VRS, and used to have a 1.4 100bhp Fabia with full body kit on and hubby bought me some mudflaps and they would not fit on, when he returned them to the dealer where he bought them, they said that they would not fit on because of the bodykit, so I presume the VRS cannot have them?

hopefully somebody more knowledgable than me will help out:thumbup:

The rear bumper is different. Where the original mudflaps would go on at the back, The vRS has a slight lip, which curls around. Original mudlfaps can be fitted, but it requires the bumper where the lip is to be heated up, and then cut.

Just found out from the dealer that supplied my car originally that Golf mark 4 mudflaps are a perfect fit for the vRS, and no modifications to the bumper are required!!

Thats what I have one mine!

If Golf Mk4 Mudflaps fit the rear of a Furbie vRS can anyone tell me if they are Longer than the Skoda ones and if they stick out more...Do the Golf front Mudflaps also fit the front of the Furbie??....Pictures Please...

Eye, any pictues available, and rough sort of price for these - I am very interested if they fit.
