Rear Badging

Featured Replies

How come the badging on the new vrs rear does not indicate what the engine is.?

As in 2.0 TDi for example

It does, on mine I had TDI, its just subtle, I took it off anyway its not like the Audi and Golf its old Styleee Boomashaka

EDIT - Sorry I have now read the post carefully and realised you were talking about the VRS, not sure if my post is correct

Nope the VRS doesn't say anything about it being a derv.

Obviously you need to trudle around in 6th building up lots of soot especially for such moments :)

No soot. Particulate Filter.

With the DPF, does it totally remove the black cr@p that you get when you boot a conventional TDI?

If so then it also removes some of the fun associated with dervs and soot. :D

buy a diesel car sticker for rear window :)

An important question would be how would the DPF cope with a `jason` conversion :P

DPF vs Tuning box?

Tuning box = more soot.:blackkey:

More soot = knackered DPF?

As in;

'Youve just been stuffed by a Skoda Diesel'

The only way to distinguish between the petrol & diesel versions of the vRS is by looking at the rev counter.

Private Reg..D13 SEL..................:)

For some reason people take exception to my SDI :D

I gather on Octavias that the engine designation badges happen to fall off. Getting the correct replacement isn't always easy ;)

No - the DPF is tolerant of high soot levels

Do they all have DPF cos mine smokes a good un!
