How come the badging on the new vrs rear does not indicate what the engine is.?

It does, on mine I had TDI, its just subtle, I took it off anyway its not like the Audi and Golf its old Styleee Boomashaka

Nope the VRS doesn't say anything about it being a derv.

Obviously you need to trudle around in 6th building up lots of soot especially for such moments

With the DPF, does it totally remove the black cr@p that you get when you boot a conventional TDI?

If so then it also removes some of the fun associated with dervs and soot.

The only way to distinguish between the petrol & diesel versions of the vRS is by looking at the rev counter.

No - the DPF is tolerant of high soot levels

Oc so if it's not a PD130 it has to at least be a 110 :P
