the tyres are the wrong size for the fabia tho, so you would have to change them.

How come there the wrong size?

because they are!! to get the right rolling diameter on a fabia they would have to be 205/40/r16

anyway, i've changen my mind about them, the seller doesn't accept paypal.... shame.... i've been looking for a set of vw bbs splits for ages....

just as a quide, for everybody i bought a set of the 15" 4 stud version of these wheels off o polo gti ages ago and they cost me £450 without tyres, but they were mint brand new...... these ones look a bit $hitty

215/40 will fit. Ride is a bit firmer with the lower tyre wall.

Correct...I've 215/40's on mine ..............But there 17"..:)

yes i relised what i'd typed as soon as i pressed the button..... but the tyres on there would be roughly the same rolling diameter anyway.

I see they are suffering from the same corrosion issue I had on my old Boxster alloys. Once started its impossible to stop and will get worse rapidly. After a refurb they will be ok for about 12 months, before the corrosion starts again. Usually its because of damp in the split, but a tiny stone chip can have dramatic consequences. With the Boxster the usual thing to cure this is to take apart the wheel and spray the outer rim in chrome paint rather than just polish / laquer.
