Only thing I couldn't find was the price for the Xenon lights package. Any ideas anyone?

Sorry for being *slightly* OT, but I noticed that the Octavia price list indicated that the L&K models are only available whilst retailers stocks last (along with one of the SDi models). I wonder if this is due to the imminent launch of the new car, or in response to slow sales of the L&K?

I seem to recall that every piece of literature I have looked at with the L&K on it suggested that it was a limited run. Possibly a coincidence that you should pick up on that AND the news of the imminent next generation Octavia?

The L&K wasn't a limited run before now - IIRC it has been available since the facelift, effectively replacing the SLX. I know I'm biased, but I think it is such a good value package when you consider the difference in price between the L&K and Elegance trim levels.

BTW - on the Xenons it appears that all the dealers give a different story. They are only standard on the L&K and the WRC edition (when it was available). My supplying dealer said that it was a

That only applies to the Hatch versions, Howard. The full range of L&K Estates is available, and of course the 4X4 continues to be available only in the Estate version..
