Hi, would any one out there want to swop your standard Fabia VRS alloys/tyres for my 17" BOSS XL200 alloys/tyres? Wheels and tyres are in very good condition.

Eddy, If you put on 7 X 17" wheel I think you need 205/40,.......I have 7.5 X 17 wheels therefor I use 215/40 to avoid the "Stretched" look................."I think"........

205/40/17 is actually closer in rolling radius to 205/45/16 so are the better option it would seem. For some reason I had it my head they should be 215/40/17.

Hi, Regarding the weight ,who knows? off-set must be on inside of rim? 7x17 no spacers fitted and tyres have plenty of tread left. If you have a copy of Demon Tweeks cat. see page 32 for a picture.

For comparison,

an OEM Fabia vRS 16" alloy with a Toyo Proxes 205/45x16 tyre and 6 mm of tread weighs 16.9 Kg (according to my bathroom scales).

A 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 2 with a Toyo Proxes 205/40x17 and 8 mm of tread weighs ... 16.9 Kg!

So my aftermarket alloys will be lighter once I've worn some rubber off.
