vRS Front ARB & Droplinks

Featured Replies

Hi, first post here :)

I'm going to upgrade the front ARB on my Ibiza PD130 with a vRS one. Also putting a Jabba Rear ARB on at the same time :D .

I've been told it will be best to replace the droplinks too?

Is this the right part number (6Q0411315G) and I take it I need two?

Will these definitely fit?

Thanks, and sorry for all the questions!

Sorry I can't give you that specific advice but someone will.

Hi, and welcome anyway. :)

Hi and welcome.

There is a revised part number for the Drop Links which I think is the one you have.

Thanks for the replies and welcomes :) .

I will get 2 ordered tomorrow. Bit more than I expected mind but can't be helped.

Would you definitely recommend changing the droplinks when getting the front ARB fitted? Anything else I should think about changing? The cars got 30k+ on.

Thanks

I've been researching this topic and this seemed like the best thread to dig up.

I'm looking at replacing the front ARB on my elegance estate for a VRS one. Am I right in thinking the ARB (complete with bushes) has the part number 6Q0 411 303 AE ? I'm also going to replace the droplinks as I had an advisory for some play in these at the last mot. My question is, do I go for the modified VRS ones seeing as I'm getting the VRS arb? or do I stick with the other type? (6Q0 411 315 F is the number I have for the alternative)

These items will be replaced in conjunction with fitting some koni FSDs and eibach springs if that makes any difference. Already done the rears + a jabba arb and very impressed so far. :D

Thanks in advance for any help.

Bump

No one? :(

My best guess is the drop links on the VRS are slightly shorter due to the lowered suspension. So I should really be getting some methinks...
