MP3 Editor

Featured Replies

Can anyone reccomend an easy to use MP3 editor. A freeware one is really what i am after.

All i want to do is take a section of a MP3 track and save that as a new MP3 track to use on my mobile.

Absolute MP3 Splitter is the one I use.

Not sure if it is freeware or not - think it's time limited on a licence.

cheers

Or try Audacity - I got it from a friend, think its freeware - you can clip tracks and save them as MP3s so long as you download a LAME encoder

Cool Edit software is good. You can get a free version of this from Download.com I think.

I use Wavepad...it will split mp3s and also allow you to split wav files and save the split bits as mp3s or wav

Handy link below for you..

Freeware downloads Multimedia - Audio Editing Tools at SnapFiles.com

Trustworthy site for freeware progs.. no spyware/adaware etc and if it's in the freeware section it is freeware (not trials).

Audacity is first on the list so yes it's freeware. There are also others that might be of use?
