Panel filter upgrade, help?!?!

Featured Replies

I'm planning to change my existing airfilter on my Skoda Octavia VRS 52 plate to a pipercross panel filter i was wondering if anyone had any idea's on a suitable air intake pipe that i could upgrade too?

I have also noticed that there is a knock out in the bottom of the existing filter box, can i use this?

Any suggestions would be a great help.

Thanks,

EddyH recommended a Green panel filter coupled with a green flexi-air intake pipe to replace the existing one. Think the pipe was 25-30 quid, but I could be wrong :D

I have one in mine and I must admit , it seems to do what it says on the tin.

I got an extra 5mpg on mine and I can hear a bit more noise when I accelerate hard.

But the link also shows that they do piping feeds too.

If you need any help with any of these then give me a shout back and I will do my best for you

Has anyone done this and do they have any pics? Where would the air intake pipe go in the engine bay?
