So Skoda are making a new Fabia..nothing new....but when will the last time be an old shape vrs can be ordered...as soon as the new shape is out ???? or later ???

I have heard December mentioned

New Fabia is out spring 2007 (from memory) and I was told (by a Skoda rep at a Motor Show) that the Fabia vRS is not likely to be replaced until the Autumn 2007 BUT to expect some 'deals' to keep them selling, free leather perhaps?

A source told me that there will be a limited special edition of them in the Octavia II vRS blue. Can't remember when they said that it would stop being made though.

Might fancy one of these if this happens!

Me too actually , I find it odd that Race Blue is Octavia only!

When I enquired about when the new VRs would be available I was told "about 18 months".

Yellow or Blue???

The first Mk2 octavias were on an 04 plate IIRC , but you could still get MK1 VRSes over a year later on a 55 plate and woth a very nice price , shortly before the Mk2 VRS arrived on sale.

Skoda won't want to lose sales so I'd expect a similar situation for the Furby Mk2.

The first ones are due early next year so I'd expect an overlap with a limited range of Mk1 Furbies still available (the VRS and a dirt cheap basic model) for another year until the full range is on sale including the new VRS.

Yellow or Blue???

blue? didn't know you could get blue yellow or silver... hhmmmmm non discript or bright! hhhmmmm decisions decisions

Toooo many cars in blue; the Octy vRS Sprint Yellow will be nice as I feel the Lemon yellow is not strident enough.

How about a WRC/Skoda Dark Green, perhaps with white, though? There were some WRC Octy I specials in white about four years ago and a Fuby vRS in WRC colours - well? Would that make T.. G...'s cool wall? - or will it be too much like a certain London Estate Agents mini?
