You are probably right Diavolo. Just a typo. I have edited my original post. Thanks.

I did have a 1933 Morris Minor for a while. Never a dull moment with that. Had to replace it in the end.

Itis a Favorit Forum Estate LS I believe. It is as I said used several times a week. Just local runs nowadays mostly by the wife ferrying her friends to Bingo and shopping trips. It had a new servo system, new tyre and gaiters last year, new gaiters and another new tyre this year . It also has a new battery which I will definitely remove if I scrap it. It needs a bit of TLC in the clean and polish dept. and it has some scratches and a small dent and a small crack in the front bumper. The exhaust sounds as though it has developed a small leak and the near side rear door does not open to its full extent. I think the spring tensioner is broken. Apart from that nothing drastic as far as I know. The wife and I needed a car with PAS so sadly it has to go.

I realise it isn't worth much but I thought I would ask before scrapping it. We didn't intend to let it go but we aren't getting any younger and we wanted something easier for parking in tight spots.

See I came on here wanting to say RS4 Avant.

Please check spelling on the thread title.

Lol, yes, I think its FAVORIT, not favourite...

Unfortunately, I'd say a car like this is probably only worth the value of the tax on it, plus say £100 if depending on condition.

Favorit LS means early carb version which is not worth much when later ones are worth very little,i have just been offered a non MOT'ed injection hatch for FREE !!! Not let Mrs Skud know yet...project me thinks !

You are quite right guys my spelling was at fault. thanks for the replies. I think I will scrap it as soon as the wife is happy with the escort. I would have liked a skoda replacement but economy dictated otherwise. I have enjoyed using it but it is costing me a fair bit to get it through the MOT now.So I reluctantly must let it go.

Bin the Ford !!! Skoda's are far more reliable and economic......well mine is :D
