Where have you routed your Tomtom?

Featured Replies

After driving around for the last four days with my KenKen, the cable looks quite untidy. I'm thinking about having it properly routed so it's hidden and can stay in the car, unless it's visable to thieves.

Is there an easy way to do this in the Fabia?

i have the same problem, the cable looks mess, but even if it was wired in, you'd still see the connector end that plugs into dave dave!

i think i'm going to sell it in the new year and get skoda retro fit unit from satnav systems

If you have the unit on the right hand side it's nice and simple Miss P.

You can take the power from the fuse box and route the cable around the edge of the dash.

There are some pics of my old units in my Fabia on here somewhere I suspect.

Can`t suggest a cable route. Just to say i use TomTom with a blue tooth reciever pumping the sat nav info to my Nokia 6680 via BlueTooth, no wires and easy to deter the theives when the journey is finished.

Receiever in pocket. Phone in pocket.

Lock doors and leave in some ghetto.

No problems yet.

Alas, I'm afraid I mount it in the middle so it can be fiddled with by my passenger
