The A/C cleaner they put in my Superb when the gas was re-charged made it smell like Wrigglys spearmint chewing gum.

And yes, the smell was specificaly wrigglys!! (unless of course the guy just dropped his chewing gum under the seat!!)

I would suggest as a minimum you get the car cleaned by a 'detailer' rather than a valeter. A bit more expensive but you'll get a considerably better job done and with higher quality products. Here's one I know of: tigerstyle Vehicle Detailing .::. Peak District

Smoke damage on a diesel ??:confused: , I thought they normally pumped it out in vast quantities, get a remap, no one would even notice the difference after an hour on the highway
