Get Ferrari?

Featured Replies

On from my previous thread about my dads friends being given a F430 to play with for 2 weeks..

My dad went round the guys house today, (the fellow briskoda member) said he would take him out for a spin in it.

He got down there to not only see a f430, but a 612 scaglietti park next to it. He has it at his house till monday.

Ok for some to have all the car parked outside.

lost me.

Your dad must have a very trusting (and very wealthy) friend there!

Hope it's still parked in a secure place over night - wouldn't leave an f430 outside my house all night, probably wouldn't be completely there in the morning  .

Awesome piece of engineering though, speaking from an engineer's point of view :) .

Nice! Good luck to 'em. I was reading a recent article in Evo magazine about Ferrari ownership (550 maranello) and the journalist reckoned that it needed new tires every 2000 miles!. Wowsers. that equates to an extra £40 to put away every time you fill up with super unleaded so you can afford the next set of tyres.. !!!

They arn't his cars.. Hes just been loaned them for 2 weeks.

It turns out they are owned by Ferrari UK.

He hasn't got to pay for anything, just fuel. Oh and its £150 for every wheel he curbs.

And no, hes not really wealthy. Just very lucky.

We live in a very safe area tbh.

Cant remember the last time i heard of a car being stolen locally.
