VRstu's Cruise control.....

Featured Replies

Had it fitted a few weeks ago and it's great!!!!!

Not had a chance to get online for a few weeks due to work commitments etc (i'm in the RAF).

But i'd just like to say that the service stu provided was excellent. He put up with my constant questions whilst he was working, explained a few things about the car that i didn't understand fully and gave a full explaination/demonstration of how the cruise control works when he'd finished. (i'm surprised at how much had to be dismantled to fit a couple of wires though!!)

There was a free drink in it too (but maybe that was a ploy to shut me up for a while??!!!)

I no longer get an achey right leg on the (many) motorway journeys i take.

Cheers stu!!!

I'd recommend stu to anyone that was considering having cruise control fitted. Great!!!

yep i am having mine done tomorrow cant wait

I will also be in that ever increasing queue !!!!

I must say I'm quite tempted by cruise control. After reading about it on his website I realised it can be really useful (ie average speed cameras!)

Thanks Tommy.

Trust all is well with the car.

Yes mate, tip top!! Think i'm getting a tiny bit of noise through the ipod connector due to how it's earthed now. But you can only hear it between tracks when the stereo's cranked up loud so i'm not that bothered.

Still haven't got round to installing my sub and amp. Still need to order the wires for that yellow connector plug.

yeah i've got cruise now and I won't be buying another car without it

its a god send

after having mine done today i am very impressed with the quality of work and how helpfull stu is he even hard wred my road angel in for a drink

top bloke and he knows his stuff !!!

How much was it Tommy?

You're best off PMing stu mate. He can answer all your questions. You might wanna check out his site first though, there's loads on there about cruise etc.

Just returned from having Stu fit his cruise control to my Fabia vRS. Brilliant job, meticulously carried out and Stu couldn't have been more helpful. Also reset the heating and ventilation motors/controls which means I no longer have ice cold or stifling hot as my only options. Stu also cancelled the extra wipe of the windscreen wipers after a "wash" which annoyingly always left a smear. Also put the bleep back on when the car is locked - very handy. I'd recommend Stu's work without reservation.

Nice to see you today Neil.

Bit of a result about the heaters, I don't really understand why they become mis-aligned??

I know this may sound slightly obvious, but as i don't have a clue please humour me, do I need an automatic gear box for cruise control or will it work with a manual?

No need for an auto box
