What VAG bits can I pinch?

Featured Replies

Hi 20VLIL

I've got, i mean i will have as of Saturday, a 130 TDi Comfort on an 04 plate. I have taken my RS4 18's off my A4 and they will be going on it aswell as a 20+BHP chip to start the mods off.

I'm an old mk1 & mk2 Golf Gti fan and was running NOS 10 years ago but now its time to be more civilized and hopefully give my new friend Baker a run for his money.

It's all about clean lines and small changes. The mods no-one has done!!

It would be nice to have some sort of gallery for people to display there motors, is this a freedom feature?

I was under the impression that the PCD on the A4 was 5 x 100? The Superb is 5 x 112 or do you have the multi fitment RS4's?

As for the 'Freedom feature' you would be correct mate, so sign up and check out 'Member's Rides'.

SuperBen

A few guys on here have re-mapped their 130's, with quite successful results apparently (Cue Octygone:) ). IIRC, others have/are using the Dragon boxes.

Might give you the performance boost you are craving, without being too mental?

All the Best

Chris

Baker

I'm not sure about the fitment exactly, the wheels do have 10 stud holes and i'm sure the offset is the same. I phoned the guys i bought them off and they said they shoud be ok especially if its the same as a passat, but now you have me worrid, guess i'll just have to try them and keep my fingers crossed

Well mate if each wheel has 10 stud holes then you have the multi-fitment RS4's which won't be a problem, I believe?

However it may be worth checking that these wheels have the 5 x 100 and 5 x 112 pattern otherwise you may have an issue but as you are taking these off your A4 then they must have the 5 x 100 pattern.

I am certain that your A4 is 5 x 100 as my Bora was 5 x 100, the Superb and Passat are 5 x 112.

Just phoned the guys i bought the rims off and he said they are multi fitment and will go straight on, just got to hope the bolts arn't too tight or i'm going to have to pay someone to do it.

Does anyone know if the umbrella came with the Superb in 2004 and is there anything else i should be looking out for when i collect the car.

Umbrella came with all Superb on Comfort and Elegance specs. It came with my 53 plate elegance (would have if it hadn't been pinched. Costs £40 to replace, or £2 for a non-skoda badged one)

If they are multi fitment then you will have no problems.

Why not just buy a Passat?

Nice wheels!!! Would they go onto an Octavia?

I git my rear debadged similar to Baker21's and kept the Skoda badge. I've followed the same route as Baker21 with coilover suspension, except he paid the extra to get a better setup (gets paid more than me) and I opted for the V-maxx setup at

Those particular one wont fit the the Octy as I believe it's PCD 5x100 where as the Superb is PCD 5x112. You can probably by them elsewhere and get a fit. They are replica Audi A8 and would imagine that someone else makes the appropriate replica for the Octy.
