hello,been to plymouth and back to rochdale yesterday.exactly 600 miles! did this with 1 tank of diesel and according to trip computer 90 miles left in tank ive never owned a car that can go that far on 1 tank and would just like to say a general thumbs up for the fabia vrs:thumbup:

Well, my Passat does 700 miles on a (bigger) tank, so no reason why a (lighter) Fabia with the same engine should not

Today I went to Plymouth from Exeter and back and averaged 42 mpg, and on the trip down my average speed was 70 mph and took 40 minutes.

I got 360 miles from a full tank.

I don't suppose yours was the red fabia I saw going the other direction on the A38?

I managed an average speed of 92MPH over 318 miles before emptying my tank!!

I have just filled mine up this evening as i have been getting the bleep on start up for 2 days, it has done 440 since last fill up so 600 is stunning.

Sadly I think that 46mpg is the most I could ever get out of my Octy - usually averages about 30-33 mpg, less if I am feeling in a 'playful' mood

your figures are pretty impressive , i've done 630 miles then filled up with 30 mile range left ,

I manage about 400-500, so 600 with some left, is impressive!

i got 400 2 a tank recently but dont think its as good on fuel as the 1 i test drove, i dont hang around when i go 4 a drive, i got legend status from my boy racer days, by the way emily where is toy town or is that a stupid question?
