Less than 48 hours after collecting it, the first mod has been kindly installed by big_k : Kruise Kontrol

In the 4 weeks I had to drive the Espace to work it really made me realise that I can no longer own/buy any cars which do not have it (or in this case, where it later can be installed).

To be honest? I haven't decided

Need to get something to mount the Czech plates, need a new blank button, need to clean the dash, want to get some spray/dent work done, want to get some other visual styling done... enough choices for now

No they had them made up for some reason, might have been someone else that requested them and they had some left. The web address do infact do skoda ( well all of VAG ) so it's not wrong as such.

They holders open up as such with a little key, so you can slot the plates in and then close it up again. Thats what I really wanted, and in fact the bottom address and badges are actually removable.

Just recived my plates and surrounds, and they are different to the ones my mate got for his Audi. The are clip in not key variety so beware of the change.

And the plates had possibly the worse version of the Welsh flag I have ever seen!

So not even the Skoda logo? That's poor...

BTW, I ordered two of those surrounds from p18s.com, so I'll post some pictures when they arrive.

Quick pic of mine.

As you can see the plates hook under three catches on the top of the surround and then above the skoda logos there are two white slots that push up to secure the bottom section.

And how bad is that Welsh flag! Might look around for some stickers of the same thing but maybe with Euro stars too. ( All of dubmeisters are stickers as the plates are metal )

I ordered 2 surrounds from p18ts.com on the 21st of November and awaited with great anticipation on them to arrive the next week... on the 29th I contacted them to ask where my surrounds were, only to be told that they hadn't received any payment. So they looked into it and they admitted having a technical problem with their clearing agent, so they were going to process my order as a matter of urgency.

So when I received nothing up and until yesterday, I contacted them again. They now claimed that they had send me the surrounds twice and were apparently unable to get it delivered to me. They are now refunding me my money...

How crap, their surrounds looked really good :(

Sounds like a SNAFU by their carrier to me. I have chilli plants on my front room windowsill, and a carrier once returned stuff to the retailer as "no-one at this address" despite that (and having not bothered to leave a "tried to deliver" card either).
