switched OEM aerial for a shorter one!

Featured Replies

Changed the aerial whip for a shorter one - I don't listen to the radio that much at all thanks to mp3's. Haven't tried out the reception but threads indicate it's not that bad (who cares here!)

Unscrewed the standard one - gave it a really big tug, pressed the Honda S2000 whip aerial into the OEM base and screwed it in firmly (or like a king maybe?:D ).

I like the new look, I always felt that the long OEM one with the thinned upper bit looked kinda wimpy and not at all sporty, but that's my own personal taste.....(as a point of reference- SWMBO knows I can't match a shirt and tie at all!!)

Not anything new by all means - do a search for Honda S2000 and you'll find a piccie of it mounted on a Superb - Nice!

Cheers

Bas

sorry, but it has to be said:

:wrthless:

:P

The combined FM/AM/DAB aerial I have on mine makes the furby look decidedly like a RC car :D

I was referring to your car. Unless you now have a superb  :P

It's a truly Superb Fabia vRS!!! It's dark outside, my car is absolutely filthy from the rain and I don't have a digital camera........

It's winter here - rained cats and dogs 2 days ago, went down to 19 deg C - you can imagine what a mess the roads are in....Been too busy to clean the car, must swing by a carwash after work tonite...

update: FM reception seems to be unchanged - I can get the US forces rock station in Saudi Arabia perfectly clearly!

Yeah!! Been out there a couple times with work for 4-5weeks at a time. Nobody takes into account that the roads will be slippy and their vehciles won't stop as well  . Virtually every set of lights there's pranged cars, trucks etc with irate drivers looking at them throwing their arms in the air.....

I never understood everyone racing away from the lights to go 300 yards and stop at the next ones??!!!!

Driving in Bahrain is something to experience, but not for the meek!!! :Yikes:

It's raining in Dubai and 20 degrees celsius. We've been blessed :D

I guess I'm not meek then  :P

I haven't driven after rain though and hate to think of it. Like an ice rink

Bas, time to take the trailblazer for a few days I think :D

We had a bona fide storm 2 days ago - driving rain and gale force winds. Took the kids out to the desert to see the huge puddles and to chuck stones into them!

Nearly got the Trailblazer stuck tho', luckily I managed to get it out without too much bother....
