Couple Of questions

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I was originally going to buy the Octivia Vrs but I have decided to go for the Furby vrs to save on running costs etc.

So far I have visted 3 dealers and they are all telling me that If I dont order the fabia vrs ASAP then I will not be able to get hold of one for rest of the year! As the factory are not making anymore!!.....Is this true??

I'd also like to know If anybody has found the car cheaper than the dealers price? I have seen the car advertised on the Makro site abit cheaper!

Cheers

John

NOt heard that one. Perhaps its worth giving Skoda Customer Services a call and get the official response, probably you will get a woolly esponse but its worth a call. Wouldn't surprise me as Seat are pushing hard with the Sporting brand.

I might Just do that. Ive managed to book a test drive at Horners in manchester next week So I'll see what they say. Also they were telling me its a service every 10k!! which I'm not to keen on as I do alot of millage!!

I've heard that the waiting list is now at about 6 months, !0k miles is average for a diesel, but see if they will convert it to variable milage servicing for you and you might get longer (or not) between service intervals

I have been in touch with the Business Sales Manager - South East for Skoda UK and he said (and I quote): "I can categorically reassure you that there are no plans to cease production of Fabia vRS". So, panic over everyone (I hope). Incidentally, for those waiting for delivery, ask your dealer for the 'commission number' and Skoda can track the whaereabouts of your car.
