vRS MOT results

Featured Replies

Now that the oldest vRS's out there are having their first MOT tests, are any having trouble passing the emissions tests?

Mine flew through no advisory either

Registered end of August 03, only 23k though

No probs with mine either, Oct 03 47K...

Do they actually test for CO2 emissions on the newer diesels? They used to only do a smoke test whilst giving the throttle some pasty. Also meant you could remove the cat and still pass the MOT.

It's been posted before, but they only do a particle test.

My car which has been fairly fettled and has a milltek didn't have any issues regarding exhaust.

Rear discs and pads however needed changing (as well as front tyres but I knew that)

My little skoda passed as well. I was so chuffed, never had a car that passed with no problems.

Did not get it done a skoda garage, particially because they got arsey over warranty work, and then tried to sell me an extended warranty

No issues with emissions.
