Featured Replies

Was searching the net last night trying show my son what a sierra could do......

And come across a few vids on the net

Can anyone remember when the Sierras dominated the Bathurst race in Oz (can remember watching this on Grandstand)

and they don't sound too bad either

Here

i'm not really old enough to remember, but i've read many articles in mags like retro cars about BTCC and cossie's..... pure legend in thier day!

I can remember them well , I always wanted a Diamond White Sierra RS Cosworth 3 Door , mint ones are appreciating now , and too many have been played with...shame.

Suprising as it may seem but I can remember the likes of Steve Soper and Andy Rouse driving them in the BTCC and their battles with the M3's of the time.

The Bathurst video is pretty cool  but I'm now addicted to Animals by Nickelback :o

i've go a few of those touring car races on video , recorded off the tele , the speed the RS500s did coming off Mt Panorama was awesome

That would have been Mike Smith and he married Sarah Greene.

They got divorced because he couldn't keep his chopper up.;)

1989 BTCC on video. Fan-blurdy-tastic! Andy Rouse, Kalibur etc.

I went to see this car, about 10 years ago, after it had been imported back to this country and repainted in Kalibur livery. (raced abroad in plain white - I think).

Awesome machine. Had to be fired up on ordinary sparkplugs until warm, then restarted on race plugs!

Mr. Smith.
