REVO Fabia

Featured Replies

Well, went to look in our local Skoda dealer at a combi vRS in black. Spotted a Fabia vRS in silver with

REVO stickers on the doors. Looking on their website it states 185 bhp. Have Skoda changed their

minds about remapped cars ,or are they just ignorant?

Dunno , I take it the combi you mention was an Octavia tho?

could have been set back to standard... If you were thinking of buying, I'd ask the service manager to garuntee your warrenty ;) just so he can't go back on selling it with a warrenty when he knows its chipped, then trying to back out if something goes wrong....

Simpsons Skoda in Colne reccommended Jabba sport and said they still conducted warrenty work on re mapped cars.

I saw that to. Hmmmm...

hhmmm worth noting :)

My dealer also recommended Jabba (having had his wife's Octy vRS remapped by them). He also has a sensible attitude to warranty work. I guess the message is "cultivate your dealer..."

I would expect limited warranty at best, unless the dealership itself underwrites warranty on the remapped vehicle.

That said, once manufacturer's warranty has expired I suppose if a dealer sells a vehicle it is warrantied under a non-SUK-new-car-scheme of some sort, which could include other brands of car and maybe therefore also remapped ones?

No idea, just putting the idea out there?

Tinted windows? Revo stickers? Sounds lik the Revo dealer at Preston's old car. In which case, he didn't have it long.
