Well guys, i've done it......I have just ordered all the components for the Jabba Stage 3 IHI turbo kit:D :D :D Will have the engine and gearbox out to fit it all together then have it low-loaded to Jabba for the re-map, will let you know how it pans out.......CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!:D :D :D

Will email pics as and when things start happening.

You will soon have loads of :D :D :D :D :D

Dont forget to uprate the clutch if you intend to use it to its full potential

\o/

Welcome to the club

even though I cheated ;)

Out of interest. How often do you big turbo lot carry out services well oil changes? Do you use the normal service interval?

I will be fitting a lightened and balanced flywheel so i'll be dumping the dual mass clutch in favour for a beefed up one:thumbup:

How much different is the performance over the KO3s turbo? I have only ever been in Jabba's IHI A3 quattro, which was bl*ody quick:eek: , but it felt as though you were having to change gear every 5 seconds and I didn't like that - the vRS box is a lot taller in terms of ratio's, how does this effect things on the road?

Any info on the IHI and/or setup would be greatfully recieved.....I feel as though I am now joining an elite group of Skoda owners....:)

Cheers guys!

I had my car from brand spanking new and had the oil changed after the first 1,000 miles, then every 4,500-5,000 miles it has a new oil/filter & air filter cleaned, every 10,000 miles a new fuel filter & get the MAF cleaned. I would also recommend getting the timing belt done early, especially if your engine has been jazzed up, I had mine done at 40,000 miles just to be on the safe side.

Steevie, if you want to have a go in an IHI vRS, come to the Funky J meet on the 10th... I'll be there.

I'm planning on sticking to 10k oil changes but did have the oil changed 1k after the engine work.

I always do the normal service on the car & also give the car the once over pre cannonball/Furball & that normally includes an oil & filter change

Its a totally different car, theres no great kick at higher revs, it just seems to pull & pull, makes for a very driveable car. The power increase on paper is only 100 horsies but it seems so much more

The Jabba A3 will have a 6 speeder so closer ratios, you will find that for everyday driving few changes are needed as you wont be trying to find the power band, its always around.

Ive fitted the 6 speed box in mine as it stripped 3rd in the 5 speed box but mine has strengthened engine internals & I told Michael to map it as hard as he could, at the time it was more agresive than the A3 although Michael might have tweaked the A3 since then.

If you are keeping stock internals he will probably map it slightlly more sympathetically although it will still be ferkin fantastic.

My main reason for doing the Internals is that the car tends to get prolonged flat out runs on its European Holidays & that is when any slight weakness can lead to an Engine in kit form over several hundred yards of black stuff

Its expensive & not really neccesary for UK driving/track use

I have 4wd so traction isnt a problem, If you have any spare cash I would go for a Trick Diff with FWD rather than worry about the internals.

Once finished you should hopefully find it a joy to drive & with the massive powerbands you can give cars with much higher bhp a real run for their money

as I said, a lot of :D :D :D will be evident:thumbup:

Cheers for the offer bud, but im away on a xmas party weekend 9th-10th, otherwise i'd pull your hand off for a blatt in yours!!

I find a standard vRS much more fun to drive.

Hope all goes well though.
