Anyone know the "transmission code" on a Fabia vRS?

I was asking about the price for a peloquin LSD (for reference only right now:O ) - and I wanted to confirm that the 02A is the right unit for my 2005 Fabia vRS. They want the "transmission code" and I'm not sure where to get it from 100% accurately.

After the Dieselgeek short shifter fiasco, I want to make sure there's no c0ckups!

I would have thought it was an 02j but i'm not 100% sure.

Lift up the boot carpet. Under it is a sticker with all the option codes on it. One line will have the engine code (ASZ) at one end and the gearbox code at the other end of the same line. There have been at least three different gearbox codes for Fabia vRSes.

02M is the code for the 6 speed box, with regards to Peloquin diffs. How I know this I'm not all that sure.

If it's six speed, it's always 02m from peloquin.

OK the third or fourth large character line had "ASZ" on the end

The beginning was " HDS 9910". Is this the tranny code?

(Oh, and the answer to the question of life was also printed there....)

HDS is the transmission code.

42 is the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything else.

so say the mice, but can you trust them?

Yes it is 02M when it comes tp the diff

12J is for the 5 speed

With the price of the dollar at the moment, the thought of importing a peloquin from the states is damn tempting. Would be little over £450 in the end.
