Not sending results for FAH

Featured Replies

Is that on Stanford's site or Extreme?

Doesn't matter, both sites showing the same total.

Same here - I'm waiting for at least 3 units to show :thumbdwn:

If it doesnt start updating in the next 48hrs I will be shutting down the folding -- I'm not paying for the leccy for 24/7 computer use if I aint gettin results :finger::mad:

I wonder if this is why the total for "uncredited" units is so high? Simply there are units being uploaded and the server isn't assigning them to team 42567. I know my settings are fine as I re-inputted them when doing some config work recently.

They will be added, if their is a problem with the server you uploaded to. It may take a day or so. It could be the reason why I had some really big points days the other week. I have so many CPUs working its impossible to check that all completed wu's are credited correctly. It may also be worth making sure that the time limit had not expired for those uncredited units.

The uncredited units I can understand, its for those people who have installed folding but left everything at default and they are therefore anonymous with no user or team id.

when I've had that problem... I've usually found a quick reboot helps ;)

Not the most elegant of solutions, but it's often worked for me!

Just tried a reboot still getiing the same results.

And so on and so forth.

I had that problem when I tried to run fah and I rebooted, removed it, ran it as a service and had the same problem so haven't bothered since then with it.

Could it be a networking issue? firewall? or maybe routing problems? or the IE7 problem?

Or even a problem with the servers at their end?

EDIT: Just looked at their server status and the one your trying to connect to is up and running... all I can suggest is you leave your client to keep trying.

The servers were a bit sick yesterday, a couple of mine struggled for serveral hours to get a new WU but they are now going again.

I'm having trouble sending stuff too. Just returned from three weeks at sea to see two things have gone through and I have ones that haven't sent.

@Starch: You need to reconfigure your client so that "Request work units with no deadlines" is set to NO. Otherwise your client will get stuck in an endless loop requesting WUs that don't exist.

I tried doing that, but it didnt change. Decided to do a re-install and that fixed it. Thanks for the help and suggestins.
