My first Skoda

Featured Replies

I've just bought my first Skoda Fabia Classic Estate. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Always driven Fiat before, but won't look back now. I'll update once my motor arrives.

Welcome to Briskoda!

Petrol or diesel? If it's diesel, Fabia Tdi's the man you need to speak to.

You won't regret your decision to buy into the brand, I picked up my first Skoda just over a week ago and I have a feeling that it could be the best car I've ever owned.

Likewise looking forward to the day when I can afford to replace our Felicia with a Fabia TDi - and preferably with a torquier engine than currently available. You [b:463450db81]will[/b:463450db81] enjoy your new purchase! :D

Well done -you definately won't look back at the Italians! On the Petrol Vs Diesel thing folks, you can't get a TDi on a Classic you need a comfort or a elegance, but you could get the SDi motor. I think it's more likely to be the 1.4 petrol however!

Hmm, only a few colours I like on a Fabia. Silver is very nice, as is stone grey. Cayanne Metallic (orange goes well to) as does black. Personally I don't like white or mint green or dark green. The rest of the colours I can handle!

Yes i agree, silver looks good - nearly as good as metallic dark blue

its been a while flyingscot.... we need more fabia owners posting on this site! especially TDis!

whoops, double post!

That'll be the new "moderators getting tough on wandering topics" stance then!

(Moderator's Note: No, its the Moderator wondering why he is seeing quote upon quote upon quote which isn't adding anything useful to the thread, is costing members to download, and is using up valuable server space! Having said that, I will now delete the cascading quotes from my previous post... Others may wish to do likewise! 8) DGW)

So does this mean you'll be deleting all those pointless arguments between RS owners and 4x4 owners then?? :?

It should be one rule for all and not one rule for some and not others! :x
