These arnt advertised on ebay are they? If they are stay away. A quick search on the web and you'll get many unhappy customers.

Hi,

I've just installed aTUNIT and the standard clutch is slipping. Did you get anywhere with this clutch unit or can anyone assist in pointing me in the right direction. All the power but going nowhere!

Thanks

Peter

There is a seller on eBay called TechniClutch? 1147 feedback though, with only 3 negative

Doesn't seem that bad to me?

Remember 449NM isnt a kick in the b0llocks away from a remaps torque output, would like a bit more factor of safety than that

I'm making assumptions here, but I think you'd need to go for the more expensive organic clutch. The "fast road" clutch may have a far too aggressive bite for everyday driving. I'm making analogies to the Sachs motorsport clutch where there too, you have an organic and non-organic clutch. The organic one has less torque handling but better suited to every day driving and dual mass flywheel

I've also contacted the TechniClutch guys and still feel confused. They says the unit is good for 225bhp and 449NM of torque, which is ok for my tiny upgrade, but when you ask around at other places they keep asking for chassis numbers and year and dont have anything thats suitable. I'm trying to find out how and if this unit is a one unit fits all! :-) I'll let you know - or if anyone else is aready running a diff clutch then come on down!

Oh and a friend that is rallies says stay with the organic clutch unless you're doing track days etc, its just too much hard work for day to day driving.
