Sony Ericsson HCB-700 Car Kit & HCE-16 Advanced Mute

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a Sony Ericsson HCB-700 blue-tooth car kit on order to fit my 2005 Octavia Tdi. Should I purchase the HCE-16 Advanced Mute unit for this kit to enable sound through the car speakers?

Will the HCE-16 fit the Octavia built in radio without any modification?

Is the Octavia fitted with 2Standard ISO connections?"

Thanks,

Anthony,

Hi Stu,

Is the new Octavia radio wiring the same as the Fabia?

Where can these connectors be bought online, I live in Ireland?

Thanks,

Anthony

No the new Octavia is different. Your original question was for a 2005, is it a MKII you have then?

You'll find pinouts on my Octavia website for the Octavia II. It will work in the same way you'll just need to connect into a new plug. I don't have the number to hand but it'll turn up if you use the search.

Don't know about getting it online, what's wrong with a Skoda dealer?
