Yokohama AVS Sport

Featured Replies

I've been running 4 yokohama AVS Sports 205/50/17 on a mk1 Octi vrs for a little over 1year and have about 4mm tread left. They havent been swapped back to front and have currently covered about 14,000 miles. I have a heavy foot most of the time and do enjoy driving the car enthusiasticaly.

They are a little noisy.

a big  to these, I would buy them again.

OK, I'll ask it: what was on the other one?

Upto 20,000 miles and approx 3mm tread left, still perform great with no loss of grip.

do you get any understeer with these?

Yes but only when it rains or greasy as with most tyres. When the roads are dry I've never experienced any tyres that stick like these.

iv'e dunlop sport's on at the moment. the understeer horsing round a wet roundabout is scary. didnt have that with the z3's before. need to sort out 2 front tyre's this week. was thinkin toyo cf1 proxes everyone seem's to have different views oin same tyres. nitemare. :(
