Fabia Rear Lexus Lights (Black)

Featured Replies

I have heard that some of the rear lexus lights people have bought for thier fabias are quite poor in the quality of the lighting - which is bothering me as I want some for my car but dont want to waste my money on a naff product.

However, because I have a dark green fabia I was interested in the dark rear lights instead and so Im wondering if anyone knows if these ones are any good?

Heres the text off thier site:

Mine give off a decent amount of light. I can see the red glow off my rear lights on the side of the road, in the mirrors. I also like the circle of red light instead of just a red square.

Are yours the same as above? If so I will click the "buy" button

Identical I believe. :) I got them for about £70 second hand off a Briskodian.

2001 lights (pre face lift) :( Sorry.

I was thinking of getting some facelift ones, but I will see how the lexus ones look first.

I actually prefer the round lights to the OEM ones, and the quality is fine.

Indeed, the round ones do look better! Should be here next week so I will post some pics

Is it easy enough to fit them?

They were a dodle to fit. However it was a little odd with the wiring, so I would advise you to make a note of which bulbs light up for brakes/indicators, etc, on a bit of paper, then hook up the lexus lights and ensure the same. I ended up having to switch a couple of bulbholders around to ensure it was spot on.

It should be noted that not even Lexus produce 'lexus lights' for their cars as they are now the domain of....well, lets just say 'the exact opposite of what Lexus stand for,' you know, classy. Perhaps everyone should take the hint?

It doesn't take much to ruin what isn't exactlly the most beautiful car in the would but every little helps.....

I think the chromey type lights do not suit the fabias at all. But the blacked out ones do, and they match on mine thanks to the blacked out rear screen as well. Although it wasn't at night, this is a clip taken of my lights whilst returning back to Prague during the Czech trip. Ignore the blue numberplate LEDs, they didn't stay on long. :D

If I had to have them I'd be splitting the unit and colour coding the (in your case) black bit.

Looks very nice. Ill post some pics when I get them and when I fit them. Could you do me a huge favour? Tell me which (on the lexus lights) bulbs go where, I presume from the vid that the taillights are at the top but what about the others?

Thank you for your help!

It's raining hard now so forgive me if I don't go check now. :D :P

Anywho, Ive messaged the seller so hopefully he can either send me the right ones or give me a refund.

Depending how well he deals with the problem I might have them up for sale:rolleyes: .

Anyone got any advice for dealing with fleebay & issues of this sort??

Sorted, well - I still havnt got the right ones but got a refund instead and a very nice email from the seller who had contacted his suppliers right away + changed the listing so it was accurate. It was a genuine mistake on his part and I have to say he was spot on.

No faith lost yet in the ebay community (for me at least).

Where did everyone get theirs from?

Ebay mate.

just keep looking, there on there all the time.
