You'd better tell me who you used BryanD as this company appears to be a bunch of muppets. Got the box I paid the £25 duty on, and there's only 24 bloody Aquapels in there! NOT happy!

OK - The company has realised their ****-up and are expressing me out 24 more aquapels right now. Good to know they're at least sorting it out. I don't want to pick favourites with sending out the 24 I have now, so shall hang on until the other 24 arrive and send out all 48 at the same time.

Hope this is OK, as I've received a lot of the payments via Paypal already. Going to leave it in my account for now instead of ripping the funds out to my bank.

OK, I have received payment via Paypal for 20 of the above 48 aquapels. 4 of them are me or Dad, so we'll both wait for the 2nd lot to arrive. If people pay for 4 more pretty soon, they'll get sent the ones from this first batch of 24. The other 24 should be crossing the Atlantic a.s.a.p.

Well, couldn't post the ones I'd packed today as I was taken down the pub by work to celebrate my exam results. But will get the rest packed up (who've paid ) and get them sent in the morning.

Right - conveniently I've been paid for 24 of the 48 aquapels to date, so all my stock is now packed up ready to send in the morning.

However, there's a few who've not either read their PMs, or who I've simply not had the alternative form of payment from (yet ) No rush at all, as I don't have the other 24 Aquapels yet. I'll hang on to any cheques I get.

As a side note, I found it a lot easier to pack up 4 aquapels, than 2. This was mainly because it was easier to form a "box" out of bits of card, to protect the snapping mechanisms. With two it was a little more fiddly, but managed it OK. I will be surprised if any snap open in transit, but I've done my best to pack them up so the natural "pressure" on the card actually bends OUT the snapping bits, and pressure on the other sides which would snap in the handles, is soaked up by the edges of the card used on the other leading edges.

Might sound hard to visualise. All will become clear when everyone receives their ones Monday/Tuesday.

By the way how do you apply the stuff, just clean the glass lots then squeeze the snappy bits together and wipe on? May have a go later today

Good. Already had one PM saying one might have broken in one of the packets. I might have to rethink the way they're packaged, which might bump up the packaging costs. better that than 1 or both breaking in a pack. :(

Oh, and the aquapel all came with a load of leaflets and stickers, which I just chucked away. Figured no-one really needed them, and could look on a website or something to find out the best way to apply it - Infact I bet the application method is on Briskoda somewhere.

Oh, and the final 24 have been shipped now, so are mid_Atlantic. Can I have the other payments soon please? Thanks.

Mine arrived yesterday, all in pristine condition - well packaged (your 'packaging ramblings' all makes sense now!)

Just a quick post to let the other half of the group buy know that the aquapels have now arrived with me and tomorrow I shall be packing them up and getting them sent, Luckily I'm on audit about 300 yards from the Exeter sorting office so I can get them sent straight from there.

I'm still a bit miffed with the supplier as their ****-up has cost me an extra £25.... Might consider using an alternative supplier next time round.
