After 6 years of Skoda ownership..........including owning 3 octavias (1.9 sdi estate.......1.9 pd 130 elegance.....and a Vrs estate)

and now a year with a Superb .......

I have to say that

apart from two non urgent recalls ...I have had nothing go wrong at all with any of them....

just thought it would make a change to put up a hasn't gone wrong post

You've just jinxed yourself

Some bugger will nick it now:rofl:

The next Skoda I buy will have to be riddled with problems:D

4 cars in 6 years! Maybe if you kept them long enough to have a service :P:rofl:

Favorit needed new boot and drivers door locks in only 6 years of ownership, the Felicia was very poor, that neede a new battery after 5 years  the first Furb vRS needed a new cd player, god knows y i stick to such an unreliable brand:D

VRS was useless ....nothing went wrong with it was just useless

Having owned a skoda from 2001, to my current one (apart for a small spell with a Boxster) even then my old car was still in the family. I can say nothing serious has gone wrong with mine either.

2 fabias in 5 and a half years. If I'd not left the first one on its roof I suspect I'd still have it now. No problems of merit, at least none that weren't of my own creation. I enjoy the freedom of not having to get involved with dealerships, and the fabia is very easy to maintain DIY if that's the way you choose. :) (as are most cars)

But when it goes from A to B reliably, and with a degree of fun ;), it's all good. I'm sure I could go out and buy an old Honda CRX and it would be more fun, but I wouldn't feel as safe and I don't think the :D:D would be as wide.
