I think this should be directed @ Huck.

Did you reach any conclusions regarding onspeed? I was thinking about getting it but I'm not parting with any cash until I hear some user opinions.Regards David

Hi Dave,

I bought Onspeed and can say that it does help with the speed that pages load, BBC News for example 3-4 seconds with onspeed, 6-7 without.

However you need to be aware that some sites don't seem to work at all through it, for example ordering online from Argos, if onspeed is enabled it is impossible to actually place an order as the site just repeats the page listing the items , disabling onspeed rectifies the problem.

Some of the various links suggested on this site (clubbing penguins anyone ?) also don't seem to get on with it. You just need to bear in mind that if a site doesn't seem to be working then it could be onspeed thats messing it up.

Overall, not a bad product. Not sure if I would buy it again though.

Thanks Jane, so it seems okay when you are just browsing but if you "do" something like you mentioned it can cause problems. Onspeeds spiel says that they are 70% the speed of broadband. I may still give it a go.
