Does anyone know approximately how much it would cost to get the sensitivity of the power steering changed by the dealer or a garage?

Yeah a friendly local VAG-COM'er should be able to do it easily for you, although most of the Fabia's I've gone to adjust have already been on their heaviest setting already :(

My dealer wanted £15 for each VAG-COM change IIRC. Best option is to see if anyone hear lives next to you with a VAG-COM or have it done at a dealer with a service or MOT.

My car is in for an MOT monday and ive asked for 2 VAG-COM changes, hopefully they will do them for free.

I live in Birmingham so hopefully there should be a dealer not too far away. When I bought the car about 2 weeks ago the power steering was perfect for me but since then i've had the sensor changed because it kept failing, and now the steering is far too heavy. Does it take long to change the setting with VAG COM?

check out the member's with the software map - there's sure to be someone not too far away from you - only takes 3 minutes and it'd be great to meet up with a fellow Briskodian! Also useful if you decide to tweak a few other settings and try them. Don't forget a few beer tokens, mind!

It takes a couple of minutes to change it with VAG-COM and there should be details in the how to section on here
