Ok guys I know the cupholder thing has cropped up a number of times before but... where did people get them from and how much did they pay?

I've just been to Bickertons to check the price of the in-dash cupholder that goes next to the radio and have been quoted over

I agree it is on the picy side, but you will see if you buy one. They are nothing like the cheapo ones you can get in the market and look the part.

Don't be fooled into thinking jhmbuttco is cheaper than your Skoda dealer.

I have access to the buttco trade price catalogue (discount on retail price) - any every item I wanted was dearer at the jhmbuttco trade price than skoda's retail price!!!

If you mean the one behind the two seats in the midle, then nothats only in the elegance. If you mean the one in the dash then again the answer is no. It seams they are only fitted to european models as it only fits on the left hand side of the dash. Most dealers don't even know it exists as mine were wondering if they could even order it when i told them.

Well there is one between the fron seats (in the elegance there is a flip out one behind that), and two useless ones in the glove box lid, so any extra would be handy for when there is more than one of us in the car.

that is the one i meant (the flip out one) the octy has one so if anyone is desperate i would be willing to part with it for a suitable replacement flap

Yeah, they come standard with the Octavia, on account of the big boot. But obviously some thieving get swiped the one out of mine... :grumpy:
