Which Games console?

Featured Replies

If its driving games your after then you dont get much better then pgr3 on the xbox 360. also wiith forza 2 coming out early next year it would be worth it.

If your looking at F1 games though it's the ps2 as Sony have the licence for F1. Doesnt mean the games are any good though. Dont let anyone tell you you have to get gran turismo either. Its the only game to actually put me to sleep while playing and the computer cars drive on a rail on the race line.

no point mentioning the ps3 as I noticed you probably wouldnt want to re-mortgage your house to buy one, plus theres still no garauntee we will see it in march. (rumours are looking like september) plus people have pre-ordered since july so I reckon it will be hard to get hold of.

 Seeing PGR3 on an HD TV was the main reason I went for the 360.

My second choice would've been a PS2 rather than the original Xbox, the main reason being the quantity and diversity of games available is much greater.

Rob.

Yeah, definetely plug in the TV type. We havn't got a HDTV yet, too many other things on the list to buy before that but it is a possibilty for an Xmas present to ourselves next year :)

I noticed today that a poster had been put up in our staff loo on the ward of an Xbox game called gears of war or something. I think this is the same game that the wags were complaining about on wednesday night because they never see their men folk anymore. Maybe I will buy him a PS2 afterall :D

Gears of War is the one that theres an advert for on TV at the moment with the version of Mad World from Donnie Darko on...

I still think the Wii will be the most fun, particularly if you want to use it 2 player a lot, or for entertainment when you've got friends round.
