I currently have a 1.2 12v engine in my car and I have just noticed on the Parkers website it says the new 1.2 engine will either have a 60 or 70 bhp, what bhp is my current engine.

54 or 68 I belive.....................The wifes 1.2 12v is 68...........Nice Engine

So a bit extra power .

Old Fabia:

1.2 6v: 54 BHP

1.2 12v: 64 BHP

New Fabia:

1.2 6v: 60BHP

1.2 12v 70BHP

It's just software changes apparantely, and they have managed to keep the economy and emissions exactly the same despite the power hike.
